Dr Eifion Roberts
BDS (Wales) MFDS RCS (Edin)
Eifion grew up in North Wales before moving down ‘South’ to study dentistry at Cardiff University, graduating in 2011. He had always wanted to work in the healthcare sector – and having excelled at the game Crocodile Dentist as a child, dentistry seemed the perfect fit!
After graduating, Eifion worked as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery, developing a particular interest in implantology, along with all aspects of dental surgery. He has since worked in a range of dental practices across South Wales.
Eifion is committed to further study and has been a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) since 2013. He completed the Stepwise Implant Course at Cardiff University in 2014. He also completed the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2016.
Eifion particularly enjoys the daily interactions with his patients and welcomes the opportunity to chat with patients in Welsh. Above all, he strives to provide the best possible care in a relaxed environment. For Eifion, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is helping nervous patients overcome their fear and seeing the confidence a healthy smile brings.
Outside of work, Eifion is a huge sports fan, especially rugby, football and tennis. He is often out exploring the trails around South Wales, running or mountain biking, but is particularly passionate about skiing and road cycling. After the birth of his little boy, Tristan, in 2017, these days Eifion is just as happy changing nappies as he is on two wheels!
